Fallout 4 PS5 Upgrade Is Not Available Free For Those Who Own The Game Via PS Plus Collection

Bethesda has revealed that the Fallout 4 PS5 upgrade is not available free to those who own the game via the PlayStation Plus Collection, although PS Plus Extra subscribers are entitled to the free update as previously confirmed.

Fallout 4’s next-gen update rolled out late last week and has been plagued by numerous issues, including a bug that prevented PS Plus Extra users from downloading the free update. However, if you own Fallout 4 on PS4 via PS Plus Collection, you’re out of luck and must pay for the PS5 update.

PS Plus Collection is now defunct and was issued to PS5 owners when the console launch, offering access to a variety of popular PS4 games to download free for PS Plus subscribers. In addition to Fallout 4, the likes of God of War, Mortal Kombat X, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard were included in the collection.
