Fallout 4’s Far Harbor will be docking with PS4 later this month

Bethesda has pinned a release date on the upcoming Far Harbor expansion for Fallout 4 on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.

The DLC, which is the largest to date for the post-apocalyptic RPG sequel, will be released on May 19. In fact, it’s not only the biggest for Fallout 4, but it’s Bethesda’s most ambitious to date, eclipsing even the meaty Shivering Isles for The Elder Scrolls IV in terms of landmass.

Far Harbor introduces a wealth of extra content, including fresh faction quests, creatures, dungeons and all-new weapons and gear. See below for the press blurb.

In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?

Fallout 4 has received two DLC packs to date since its launch in November 2015: Automatron and Wasteland Workshop. More content is on the horizon, although Bethesda hasn’t gone into any details as of yet.
