The FIFA 22 opening cinematic has found its way online via early access customers, and suffice to say, EA Sports has obviously blown a ton of cash on getting some big names in the intro. There’s David Beckham, who needs no introduction, as well as French freestyler Lisa Zimouche and many more familiar footie faces.
Seen below, the intro combines cutscenes and gameplay, with players introduced to their avatar and spend a bit of time practicing in the streets of Paris with Lisa. Things eventually transition into a full match, but not before you brush shoulders with the likes of Anthony Joshua and Kylian Mbappe.
FIFA 22 will be kicking off for general release on October 1, 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. If you’re an EA Play member, then you can tuck into a 10-hour trial for the footie title now.
