A new Final Fantasy 7 Remake update has been pushed out by Square Enix to alter some dialogue from Aerith at the end of the game, as well as tweaking Tifa’s outfit in a flashback sequence.
The change in Tifa’s outfit comes during a flashback to a sequence in Nibleheim, and presumably comes about to ensure consistency between FFVII Remake and FFVII Rebirth. The dialogue, meanwhile, changes from Aerith commenting “I miss it…the steel sky” to “This sky…I don’t like it.”

The sequence still plays out the same, with Aerith looking towards the sky and delivering her dialogue. The meaning behind the steel sky comment presumably refers to Midgar, seeing as how she’s used to looking up at the plate that the city is built on, with the slums lying beneath the ‘steel sky.’
As such, her now commenting that she doesn’t like the sky makes sense as she isn’t used to looking up at the real thing, having grown up with the steel plate above her head. Furthermore, in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Aerith comments that she is frightened by the sky due to her being sued to the slums.
Final Fantasy VII Remake was released for PS4 in April 2020 and was re-released for PS5 as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade the following year, featuring additional content and visual enhancements.
