Creative talent from the Final Fantasy franchise have teamed up to work on production, writing and the musical score for a new PS Vita and iOS 2D persistent online role-playing game entitled Zodiac.
Unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show, Zodiac features work from Final Fantasy composer Hitoshi Sakimoto and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima. Audio work is being handled by Basiscape who worked on Dragon’s Crown, Muramasa: the Demon Blade and Valkyria Chronicles.
Developer Kobojo, says that Zodiac “blends classic elements from Japanese RPGs with beautifully 2D hand drawn art, creating a gameplay experience that is as deep and engaging as it is stylish”.
The new website for Zodiac has gone live as well as the announcement trailer which you can see below.
A release date has yet to be announced.
