In perhaps one of the more obvious Final Fantasy VII Rebirth info drops on Twitter, Square Enix has revealed the upcoming PS5 sequel will feature new music tracks, and that players can expect some rearranged compositions from FFVII Remake to boot.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Music Supervisor, Keiji Kawamori, posted the following on Twitter:
Many new tracks have been created for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and we will be making some new arrangements of tracks from Final Fantasy VII Remake as well.
Square Enix has been busy teasing details on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth over the past few days. The company’s first post revealed that development is progressing smoothly and that a release date is being nailed down. We then heard that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will feature the chance to explore its game world with a ‘high degree of freedom,’ although players won’t need to have played FF VII Remake to enjoy the sequel.
