Reliable leaker NateTheHate has said that he’s heard Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 is going to appear at Summer Game Fest tomorrow, finally giving us our first look at the highly anticipated sequel.
Speaking on the GamingLeaksAndRumors Reddit, Nate was asked outright if he knows whether or not the game will be showcased during SGF, to which he replied, “I expect it will be at SGF.” When pushed if he’s explicitly heard if Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 will be there, he stated, “I’ve heard it is at SGF.”
There’s been quite a lot of chatter from director Naoki Hamaguchi about Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 the last few months. Early last month, he revealed during an interview with Nintendo Life that he’s completed over 40 full playthroughs of the game, and told Restart.Run in late May that Chadley will be featured in FFVII Remake Part 3, where it sounds like he’ll have a key role.
Finally, speaking with German publication Ntower, the game director stated that Cid and Vincent, who will become playable in the game for the first time, have been “designed with incredibly appealing combat capabilities,” and is eager for players to try them out.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 has yet to attract release date, but unlike FFVII Remake and FFVII Rebirth, it is being developed as a multiplatform title from the get-go.
