First Contact Entertainment has announced that Firewall Zero Hour Season 3, titled Operation Heartland, is now available to grab for PSVR. In addition, the company also also rolled the Firewell Zero Hour Digital Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Pack.
Firewall Zero Hour Season 3 Out Now
Operation Heartland brings the action to North America, where players can hoover up cosmetic rewards by completing free missions available during the season. Those of you who fork out for the Op Pass can also get your hands on extra Premium and Bonus missions weekly, which yield further cosmetic goodies.
Firewall Zero Hour Season 3 adds a two new maps for players to duke it out on, the first of which is named Prepper. This combat zone is set in a doomsday prepper’s bunker on the edge of Arizona, an area that is described as being on the ‘edge of society.’ Prepper is available now, and is the new Main Menu and Lobby environment for Season 3.
Elsewhere, the second map, Gauntlet, will be deployed on November 26 and takes place on a Virginia training ground. According to First Contact, the map should be popular with fans of Firewall’s Shoothouse map.
New Contractors are also on the way, too. First up is Bear, who is something of an expert at tracking and hunting.
Bear grew up in the state of North Carolina, and later served his country as a marksman in an elite military division. His Skill of “Hunter” removes the red enemy chevron above his character. Players are sure to be fans of running as Bear, with his expert stealth “Hunter” Skill making him even harder for enemies to detect!
The second Contractor, Dom, is out on November 26 and specialises in Survivalist skills, allowing players to receive a secondary downed state. Meanwhile, new equipment includes the Nerve Gas Mine, which is unlocked at Level 17 for the 7300 Crypto.
The Nerve Gas Mine is that perfect mix of both tactical and lethal abilities in one piece of equipment-making it a great choice for both Attackers and Defenders. After placement, the Nerve Gas Mine is activated by enemies who enter its radius. Once triggered, the mine emits a lethal cloud of gas, causing enemies to take damage over time, and eventually be killed if they stay inside the radius too long.
