Fledgling development studio Three Fields Entertainment, which consists of the team who original founded Criterion Games, are currently working on their first project, a game which they say fans of racing game, Burnout, and first-person shooter, Black, will like.
The announcement of the new game is expected shortly, after director Alex Ward wrote on Twitter: "If you liked #Burnout and you liked #BLACK then you might just like this first game we’ve made at @3FieldsEnt".

More information is teased on the Three Fields website, which confirms that the new title is not a racing game but is focused on the sport’s genre and multiplayer.
“We’re currently hard at work on our first project,” says Three Fields.
“If you’ve followed our work for the past ten years then you’ll be familiar with the sorts of games we like to make. This first game isn’t a driving or racing game though. It’s an original new game – an innovative new twist on a sports game that’s fast, funny and heavy on social multiplayer. We’re keeping it under wraps until most of the game is complete.”
Meanwhile, the existing Criterion team are working on a new IP which will be a driving game. Players can expect to be in control of ATVs, helicopters and wingsuits.
