Raphael Colantonio, founder of Arkane Studios and now the founder and head of WolfEye Studios, has teased that the next game coming from WolfEye is one that will make fans of Dishonored and Prey “happy.”
In a tweet on his personal account, Colantonio not only gave fans of Dishonored and Prey that little nudge, he also indicated that we’ll know what the next game from WolfEye is “in a few days.”
“We’ll reveal a bit more about our next game in a few days…” Colantonio said in his tweet. “Fans of the previous 1st person games I was involved with (Dishonored and Prey) will be happy,” he then added.
Replying to a fan who asked about other games from his backlog like Arx Fatalis and Dark Messiah, Colantonio said that he could’ve mentioned those as well, but that a tweet can only be so long.
The last time we heard anything about what WolfEye would be up to next, we got the indication that it was some kind of retro sci-fi RPG. At this year’s GDC, we saw a photo which had a single screenshot of whatever this next game was in the background.
That could be the same project Colantonio is talking about here, or it could be another title that WolfEye is working on. Whichever it is, we’ll know in a few days.
