Founders Of CD Projekt RED Have Lost One Billion Dollars Since Cyberpunk 2077 Release

The troubled launched of Cyberpunk 2077 has hit the founders of CD Projekt RED like a tank, as they’ve collectively lost over one billion dollars. This probably isn’t surprising given the amount of issues the game has faced on current-generation consoles, which is frankly a shambles when compared to the PC release.

The losses incurred by the founders of CD Projekt RED was reported by Bloomberg and follows more than a week of controversy over the PS4 and Xbox One edition of Cyberpunk 2077, which is packed to the rafters with bugs and glitches and generally runs like Del Boy Trotter’s three-wheeled van (i.e. rubbish).

CD Projekt RED has said that it aims to rebuild the trust it has lost due to the problems faced in the sci-fi title, although it didn’t get off to a great start considering it admitted it was at fault regarding how the game managed to pass the certification process at Sony and Microsoft.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
