Fresh Arkham City details surface

The chaps at Arkhamcity.co.uk have sprinkled a fresh batch of juicy details on Batman Arkham City across the web today via GameVicio magazine, pertaining to the new gameplay mechanics the Caped Crusader will take advantage of in the eagerly anticipated sequel.

Check them out below.

-Batman will possess a series of special attacks that can hit up to three enemies at once
-The Caped Crusader will also be able to employ fresh air attacks, with one manoeuvre having him hanging by a cord before leaping over and disarming his foes
-Special combat moves have been added, which will be known as “Terminators.” Once such attack, dubbed “Fallen,” has Batman performing a few quick punches followed by a vertical kick that launches the enemy in to the air, where they will be vulnerable to another attack.
-Batman can climb all objects such as buildings and wires, and will be able to balance on them ala Assassin’s Creed II. You can also slide under objects and grab on to poles and rods.
-Players can now dodge projectile attacks from firearms
-Batman and grapple enemies in mid-flight
-Players will be able to run and utilize gadgets simultaneously, as well as run, jump and hit at the same time.
-A gadget is available that upgrades Batman’s “leap” (this one’s a little ambiguous due to the dodgy translation, but it seems to pertain to our hero’s cape)
