Frostpunk 2 developer 11 bit Studios has released its roadmap plans for the the game following its launch in September for PC, and unsurprisingly, the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release is a major focus for the road ahead, alongside various post-launch content.

First up is the aforementioned console release of Frostpunk 2, which 11 bit Studios describes as a “highly anticipated release.” Aside from the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S editions of the game, the developer is also going to offer DLC that offers “entirely new dimensions to the unforgiving world of Frostpunk 2.”

Finally, Frostpunk 2 will receive free major content updates that are inspired by player feedback, and will “enhance and evolve” players’ experience in meaningful ways. The team will also be rolling out hotfixes and making general improvements to ensure Frostpunk 2 runs “stable and polished.”
