Retail giant GameStop is offering an online-exclusive PlayStation 4 bundle featuring a 500GB console and a copy of both Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Fallout 4.
The best part about this deal is that it’ll only cost you $349.99; considering that’s the regular price of a standalone PS4, getting two extra games for your hard-earned cash is an absolute must-have for those of you yet to make the transition to current-generation gaming.
Of course, with Black Friday creeping up on us, it won’t be long before retailers around the country will be all competing to offer you the best console and game deals in the run-up to Christmas. PSU will be compiling a massive list of the best deals available, so bargain hunters may want to stay tuned for that in the very near future.
Note that the deal is only available for customers in North America, although GameStop UK is bound to start rolling out its own deals soon enough.
Sony has enjoyed a brilliant year with its flagship console so far, with the format holder announcing last month that PS4 has sold-in nearly 30 million units worldwide since its launch in November 2013. The console recently benefitted from a price cut in both the U.S. and U.K., although this wasn’t quite enough to beat Xbox One in North America last month; nonetheless, the console is tracking well ahead of the multi-million selling PS2, which is Sony’s best-selling system to date. PS4 remains the global leader so far this generation, and Microsoft has even admitted catching up to its leading rival may not even be possible going forward.
Microsoft lobbed fresh mud at Sony earlier this week when it released a ‘How To’ video detailing Xbox One’s backwards compatibility, which was a clear shot at Sony’s own dig at Xbox One’s DRM back at E3 2013. However, analysts have said that Sony probably isn’t all that concerned about the feature.
