Ghost Of Tsushima: Director’s Cut has just gotten its most recent patch numbered 2.08, and its now live for you to download on you PS5 or PS4 console. Developer Sucker Punch tweeted out the news earlier today, outlining the fixes and issues that the patch addresses.
“This patch improves the load time for viewing cosmetics in menus on PS5, restores colour button prompts, plus various Legends adjustments and additional bug fixes.”

For all the grumbling about the upgrade cost for Ghost Of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, that hasn’t seemed to cut into sales too much, since it has been doing very well in sales charts, at least with physical sales.
Unfortunately though its this pattern that tells Sony they can continue to have these upgrade costs because people will pay them. They’ve already gone so far with it that Horizon Forbidden West will no longer have any kind of upgrade path from PS4 to PS5 as they promised last year, though hopefully this problem doesn’t persist any longer and we can stop having cross-generational releases.
