Glen Schofield is clearly a very future-thinking developer in that he’s already talking about looking forward to making a sequel to The Callisto Protocol before the first one is even out.
“I want to make a sequel,” he said in an interview with Inverse. “This is a complete game, but there’s a lot of ideas, cool ideas, we want to do next. I always want to keep making the next big thing. Even after I finish a game, I’m already thinking what’s next.”
Not a surprising attitude from Schofield, considering his comments on EA Motive’s remake of Dead Space.
It’s also exciting to think that Schofield and the team at Striking Distance Studios are already looking ahead for The Callisto Protocol, as it kind of speaks to the teams confidence in their work on the first game.
Recently it was announced that The Callisto Protocol had gone gold, reaffirming that it would not be delayed outside its December 2, 2022 date, as some rumours indicated.
