God Of War Ragnarok DLC Is Probably Not Happening, Says Game Director

Speaking on the latest Kinda Funny podcast, God of War Ragnarok Game Director Eric Williams has played down hopes of seeing any DLC for the critically acclaimed PS4, PS5 sequel.

While addressing fan questions about the possibility of seeing DLC for Kratos and Atreus’ latest adventure, Williams implied that it’s not happening.

I don’t know, man. That game is big. Like, we put everything we had into it, so I wouldn’t count on it.

In related news, Williams also admitted that he’d like to work on a Castlevania game if given the chance.

While DLC seems to be off the cards, it’s worth remembering that the game will still receive some post-launch support with various patches as is the case with pretty much every game. Furthermore, we know that a Photo Mode is planned at some point down the line.

Recently, God of War Ragnarok attracted the attention of PETA, who suggested that Sony create a new mode for the game that removes violence towards animals.
