Speaking during an interview with IGN, Eric Williams, the director behind God of War Ragnarok, has revealed that the game’s ending will be ‘surprising, yet inevitable.’
As previously revealed, God of War Ragnarok will be the end of the Norse saga of God of War games, as there won’t be a third entry. Sony put this down to the fact it takes a long time to make new titles in the franchise, and therefore is eager to wrap it up with the second instalment.

God of War Ragnarok is currently in development for PS5 and PS4 and will launch at some point in 2022.
Last month, Christopher Judge, who voices Kratos in the sequel, revealed that the game was delayed due to him having major surgery. Sony also recently announced that God of War Ragnarok will support 11 different languages across 13 voice over tracks.
