Hardcore, ultra-stylish, gothic RPG Othercide has confirmed its PS4 release date as July 28, 2020, alongside releasing a brand new trailer for the game.
The game, which is developed by Lightbulb Crew and was picked up by Focus Home Interactive earlier this year is a tactical RPG with a deep dynamic timeline system that offers a number of possibilities within combat. The game also has a gorgeous monochromatic art style, accented with blood-red that reminds us of Sin City. In the game you play as an army of Daughters who battle, support, and sacrifice one another to continue being the last hope for Humanity in the bleak world.
The game looks quite promising and adds to Focus Home’s already impressive lineup this year. You can watch the Othercide PS4 release date announcement trailer below:
The studio has been working on the title for quite a while and I even remember writing about the game’s teaser trailer almost two years ago, before I even joined PSU. I have had my eyes on it for a while and it looks like it could be a surprise hit indie game of 2020.
Othercide launches on July 28 for PS4.
