Kazunori Yamauchi has denied reports that a PC version of Gran Turismo 7 is in development during an interview with Dengeki Online.
Previously it had been reported that Polyphony Digital was ‘considering’ a PC version of the critically acclaimed PS4 & PS5 racing simulation title, but Yamauchi-san was asked about and said that he’s ‘not doing anything’ about a PC edition.
That is not true. Regarding a PC version, I replied ‘[as a developer] it’s not that I haven’t considered all the possibilities’. That means that the possibility is not zero, simply if you ask me ‘are you doing anything concrete?’ I am not doing anything. There is nothing to talk about.
Gran Turismo 7 was released in March 2022 for PS4 & PS5, and you can read our full verdict on the racer here. The franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month, with the original Gran Turismo launching in December 1997 for PSOne in Japan.
