Sony has announced that Gravity Rush 2 will be hitting PlayStation 4 in the U.K. on December 2, 2016. The game will hit Europe a few days earlier on November 30, and arrives in the U.S. on September 2.
Gamers will be able to pick up some pre-order bonuses at participating retailers too, including a white costume for Kat and a Director’s Choice Soundtrack. In addition, those of you who order via the PlayStation Store will get a free PS4 Theme.
Elsewhere, Sony confirmed that a new anime, Gravity Rush: The Animation – Overture, will be released ahead of the game, which aims to bridge the gap between the original Gravity Rush and the sequel.

Gravity Rush was originally released on the PlayStation Vita, becoming one of the early must-have titles for Sony’s handheld system. The game was later ported to the PS4 in the shape of Gravity Rush Remastered.
The series is the brainchild of Projet Siren, the team responsible for the survival horror franchise Siren that began on PS2 back in 2003.
