Rockstar has confirmed that it won’t be hosting any beta for the upcoming PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One version of Grand Theft Auto V.
The company posted on its official website that gamers should be on the lookout for false advertising over the next few weeks.
"Please Note: There is no pre-release ‘Beta’ test for Grand Theft Auto V. If you see ads or solicitations to join a beta program, beware as this is likely some type of online phishing scam,” said Rockstar.
The next-generation version of GTA V takes full advantage of Sony and Microsoft’s new consoles, featuring a host of new content, such as enhanced visuals, improved draw distance, a new radio station, and more.
GTA V is due out in November.
