Guerrilla Games has further hinted as to the identity of its mystery PlayStation 4 project via a job listing posted on its official website.
The Killzone developer is on the hunt for Concept Artist (sorry, that’s heroic Concept Artist of Legend—their words, not ours) and seems to hint vaguely at some sort of open-world for the project.
Check out the blurb below (via Gamescabin):
"Guerrilla is on an epic quest for a Senior Concept Artist with an architectural or industrial design background. Like a modern-day Daedalus, you will design complex environments to contain the monsters and ensnare the heroes of our flagship titles. You will supply highly detailed blueprints and asset designs for these environments to the production artists, and work with the Visual Design Team to create an original, consistent game world. Since you will be participating in all phases of the design process, good social and communication skills are a must for this role.
Requirements
Are you the heroic Concept Artist spoken of in legend? We want to hear from you if:
You’re passionate about – and have good knowledge of – industrial design, graphical design, architecture, art and culture;
You’re comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team;
You’re comfortable working within a predefined style;
You have excellent creative skills and insight."
Guerrilla Games’ new title, which is believed to be called Horizon, has been the subject of much speculation over the past 18 months or so. Various rumors have pegged the game as an open-world RPG, and it is heavily rumored to be announced at E3 this year.
Elsewhere, the studio also posted a New Year message on Twitter, which seemingly hints that it might be gearing up to show off the game this year:
Happy new year everyone! We’re back to business again and can’t wait to make this year succesful!
