Want to know how to unlock Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 content in Hitman 3 on PS4/PS5? Then you’re in the right place! IO Interactive‘s latest stealth-’em-up acts as as or hub for the World of Assassination Trilogy, so there’s plenty of content to tuck into for those who played the first two games.
It’s worth noting right away that you should do this as soon as you get Hitman 3, as the importing process will wipe any progress you make in the new game. You’ll also need to grab an IOI Account, so keep that in mind before you start.

What Hitman 1 & 2 Content Can Be Imported?
HItman 3 is able to transfer over levels and locations from Hitman and Hitman 2, as well as any progression you make for Hitman 2. This includes your player profile, XP rank, location mastery levels, location mastery unlockable content, challenge progress, challenge content, and Elusive Target suits/unlockables.
How To Import Hitman 1 & 2 Locations & Levels
First of all, you’ll have to own Hitman and Hitman 2, obviously. Levels and locations from both games can be obtained as DLC for Hitman 3 using Access Passes. If you haven’t already downloaded the Hitman Legacy Pack for Hitman 2, you’ll need to do so before getting started unless you already have it.
Once you have it in your possession, you can download the Hitman 2 Access Pack from the game’s store. There’s three different passes up for grabs, each one depending on what version of Hitman 2 you have – Standard, Expansion Pass, or Gold Edition.
Downloading the Hitman 2 Access Pass after the Hitman 1 Legacy Pass allows you to pack all content into one Access Pass. Furthermore, if you download the Hitman 2 Access Pass for Hitman 3, you’ll upgrade the Hitman 1 Legacy Pack to the Game of the Year Edition at no extra cost.
How To Import Hitman 2 Player Progress
Okay, so next up is grabbing all your Hitman 2 progression for the new game. This is an everything-or-nothing deal though, so you can pick and choose what you want to import. It’s also a onetime process per platform and you can’t repeat the process. For PlayStation console owners, you can import your progress from PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 — one family of consoles, as it were.
The process involves going to a dedicated website – which you may recall has been experiencing teething issues following Hitman 3’s launch — to transfer your progress. Providing you have an IOI Account, you simply log in with your details and follow the steps on the website.
Here is a complete list of everything that will be transferred. Note that Hitman 1 GotY save files or rewards, while the ICA Electrocution Phone has been binned off.
