Halo Studios has deployed the first patch for Halo Campaign Evolved for players across PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S users to download, and while it’s nothing too major, it does come with some stability improvements and key bug fixes. For example, a charged shot from the Plasma Pistol will no longer kill all players who have full health and shields on any difficulty, while there’s no reduced hitching for players with large friends lists across all systems as a result of performance improvements being implemented. You can read the full Halo Campaign Evolved patch notes below.
Halo Campaign Evolved is a full remake of the classic Xbox shooter Halo Combat Evolved for modern platforms, featuring enhanced visuals, mission designs, AI, and a new prequel chapter offering a series of extra missions featuring Master Chief and Sgt. Avery Johnson. Stay tuned for our review in the coming days.
This update to Halo: Campaign Evolved brings enhanced stability across multiple platforms, adjustments to multiple enemy AI behaviors, and more.
Please note that this update includes changes that require mid-mission saved progress to be reset when the update is installed. Any unlocked Missions or Rally Points will remain available.
