HBO’s The Last Of Us Season 2 Teaser Offers Our First Look At Abby

HBO has released the first teaser trailer for The Last Of Us Season 2, giving us our first look at Kaitlyn Dever’s portrayal of Abby Anderson in the post-apocalyptic horror show.

In addition to Abby, we’re also treated to appearances from Dina, who of course is a new character for Season 2 based off of her video game counterpart in The Last of Us Part II, plus some shots of Joel and Ellie, who bond over the guitar. Abby is seen looking at a gravestone, which is possibly of her father; anyone who has played the games will know how important this is for her character arc.

The Last of Us Season 2 is set to cover the events of The Last of Us Part 2, or to be more accurate, part of it, as showrunner Craig Mazin revealed that it will take more than one season to cover that game’s events.

Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has revealed that The Last of Us Season 2 will feature some key changes to the story much like Season 1 did with the Bill and Frank story. While he didn’t elaborate on what character(s) will be involved, he did say that he thinks fans of the game will really enjoy what’s been done.
