Hideki Kamiya is no stranger to the video game industry, creating some of the most popular franchises and games, such as Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, and Resident Evil 2. In a statement released on X, Hideki Kamiya has suggested that Hideo Kojima should make another game like P.T. if the teaser demo can’t be revived. If he can’t, Kamiya suggested that he should make a game like it, but steer away from horror, as he doesn’t like horror.
If PT can’t be revived, Kojima should just make another game in the same style… If Kojima-san won’t do it, maybe I will… I don’t like horror so it’s not a horror game… I mean, I don’t have any ideas…

P.T. was a demo teaser that was revealed to be the next Silent Hill game, dubbed Silent Hills. The game was set to be developed by Kojima in collaboration with Guillermo Del Toro and starring Norman Reedus. The demo became a sensation, and fans were ecstatic to learn that Kojima was working on a Silent Hill game.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. Soon after the teasers’ release, Kojima and Konami would part ways, and the Silent Hill game would be canceled. P.T. was permanently removed from PSN, and those who deleted the teaser from their hard drive would never be able to download it again.
