Legendary video game designer Hideo Kojima has wrapped his 10-day tech tour and posted his thoughts on the trip on Twitter.
The Metal Gear creator travelled around the U.S. and Europe with Sony’s Mark Cerny to visit a number of studios including Sony Santa Monica, Sony San Diego, the U.K., Guerrilla Games, and more to observe the various technologies used at the Sony-owned studios.
Now that he’s journey is complete, Kojima-san has taken the time to reflect on the tour, beginning with a quote from Arthur C Clark: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
He then followed this up with his own thoughts on the matter. Check out his musings below.

Hideo Kojima departed Japanese publisher Konami late last year following the completion of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The designer immediately formed his own studio, an independent incarnation of Kojima Productions, and has confirmed he’s working on his first title for the PS4.
While details are being kept under wraps on the game, Kojima-san has confirmed it won’t be related to Metal Gear or Silent Hills.
