IO Interactive has drip-fed us some new details on Hitman 3, revealing that the game will actually reduce the overall size of the trilogy to under 100GB. This is in addition to the various visual enhancements that it will bring to the previous two Hitman games.
One thing I think all of you will be happy to hear is that we have managed to get the size of the game down significantly. All three games with all content will take up around 100gb.

Biggest wins are because of data management and file structures and how we deliver the game so we could remove duplicate data. We also use newer and better compression for textures – that helps too.
Those of you who own Hitman and Hitman 2 will benefit from various enhancements, with IO adding, “we upgraded the engine with screenspace reflections. Best thing? It’s backwards compatible with the previous two games in the trilogy and lots of surfaces has been upgraded.”
Hitman 3 is due for release on January 20 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox One.
