As part of the VR Showcase 2025 livestream event, just ahead of its launch later this month we got a new look at gameplay for Hitman: World Of Assassination on PS VR2.
After originally being slated for December 2024, developer IO Interactive announced that it would be delaying the PS VR2 version of the game until March 27, 2025. Now, just weeks ahead of the launch, we’ve gotten a short look at the work IO Interactive has been putting in to make it ready for PlayStation’s VR players.
Unsurprisingly, the gameplay shown is very impressive. The world of Hitman is already a beautifully built sandbox for stealth fans to go absolutely buck-wild with the different ways they can approach each situation and take out their targets, so being able to do all that in VR is a whole new step-up.
If you already own Hitman: World of Assassination on PS5, then you can upgrade to the PS VR2 version of the game for only $9.99 USD, while players who don’t yet own Hitman: World Of Assassination can jump in for $39.99 USD for the Hitman: World Of Assassination Part One – VR2 Edition.
