Guerrilla Games‘ Horizon Forbidden West has debuted at no.1 on the UK All Format Chart, selling 68% and 32% copies on PS5 and PS4, respectively. This is despite the fact the PS4 version of the game comes with a free upgrade to the next-generation version of the sequel.
The PS4 version of Horizon Forbidden West retailers for £59.99 in the UK, which comes with a free PS5 upgrade. Meanwhile, the PS5 edition of the game will set you back £69.99.
The game is the PS5’s second biggest launch to date, behind only Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

While the PS5 version of Horizon Forbidden West features a number of visual and performance advantages over the PS4 version, Guerrilla Games has said that the last-gen edition still ‘holds up well.’
Sony and the Eden Project teamed up last week for the launch of the game to raise awareness of the UK’s wildflower habitats.
