If you're visually impaired, partially or completely blind, did you know that the PS4 has multiple options that can help improve your gameplay experience? Via the Accessibility feature on the PS4 dashboard, you can change multiple settings.
One of the biggest issue for visually impaired people on PS4 is the size of the text. If you go to Settings > Accessibility, you'll be able tweak this in numerous ways.
How To Enlarge Text On PS4
Via the accessibility settings, you can enlarge text and make it bold. Just select the options in the menu. You can also use the zoom feature. Just tick the Zoom checkbox and then whenever you want to zoom into an area, you just need to press the PS button and Square at the same time. You can then use the directional buttons to move around the screen to select new areas you want to enlarge.
Text To Speech On PS4
There's also the ability to convert text into audio. Enable the text to speech option, and choose your preferred volume and speed of the audio, and it will convert text into speech.

Subtitles On PS4
You can also display closed captions on PS4. This comes in handy when watching videos as it will display subtitles for text for all the spoken dialogue. You can also display these subtitles in different ways, choosing the size of the text and background color.
In some games, you'll also find a separate accessibility menu. For example, in Destiny 2 you can also enable subtitles.
More Accessibility Options On PS4
Other accessibility options on PS4 include being able to increase the screen contrast, invert the screen colors and change button assignments. These are also available in the same menu.
