The folks over at GameTrailers recently posted a video with Naughty Dog’s Amy Hennig from an interview at PAX. In the video she talks about how Uncharted 2: Among Thieves takes full advantage of the power in the PlayStation 3.
The first Uncharted only used about one-third of the PS3’s power, according to Hennig. In order to use the full power of the PS3, Naughty Dog shifted processes from the main processor and shifted them onto the SPUs. The result is incredibly brilliant graphics and animations.
