Twitter user TheTipster, who has a pretty solid track record according to various sources, has claimed that the Scream series is being adapted into a video game, and that Supermassive Games could be the team behind the new project. Remember: this is just a rumour at this point, so don’t get your hopes up too much.
https://twitter.com/thetipsterVG/status/1706159907903570069?s=20To be fair, I’d totally be on board for a Scream video game in the same template as Supermassive’s The Dark Pictures and The Quarry; the series would be a great fit for that type of experience, with players following a bunch of young adults stalked by the iconic Ghost Face. Whether or not it would adapt a specific film or produce something brand new is another story altogether, but Supermassive Games is definitely the best studio for the task, in my humble opinion.
