The director behind the Star Trek reboot and its sequel has said that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves‘ intro sequence is the ‘best’ he’s ever seen for a video game, movie or television series, according to franchise voice actor, Nolan North.
Speaking with the latest issue of OPM UK, North explained that Sony’s action-adventure franchise was one of the reasons he was able to land a role in Star Trek: Into Darkness.
"We talked about Uncharted. It was the reason he put me in Star Trek Into Darkness—a little part (USS Vengeance bridge officer) just for fun—and he said the opening of Uncharted 2 was the best opening of a game, television show or movie he’s ever seen."
The final chapter in the Uncharted series, A Thief’s End, is scheduled for release exclusively on PlayStation 4 in spring 2016. Sony recently showcased the entire E3 2015 demo for all to see after it was displayed behind close doors at E3. Check out the latest info burst on Uncharted 4 here.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will form part of The Nathan Drake Collection on PS4 this October.
