As it eats it will grow in size, before eventually pulsating and exploding. The Osmotic Cube will drop all the resources it had swallowed in the process, as well as an Alien Alloy.

If you need to give the cube some encouragement and point it in the direction of some creatures you can slap it by holding down the ‘Square’ button and releasing it when you are facing the direction you want to push the cube in.

Journey To The Savage Planet is the first game from Montreal based Typhoon Studios. I quite enjoyed it stating in my review: “Journey To The Savage Planet is a fun, arcadey ride with its comedic characters, cartoony art style and unique blend of game genres. Secrets and secondary objectives galore, creative creature design, and a rewarding gameplay loop only add to that ride.” You can read my full thoughts in PSU’s review.

Journey To The Savage Planet is available now for PS4.
