Square Enix and Avalanche studios have revealed the first DLC expansion pack for Just Cause 3. Titled ‘Sky Fortress’, and set to release sometime in March 2016, it’s the first of three expansions planned for the ‘Air, Land, & Sea Expansion Pass.’
Included with the expansion is a new enemy called the Eden Corporation and their army of advanced robotic and drone enemies. Just Cause 3’s protagonist Rico also gets a cool upgrade in the Bavarium Wingsuit which comes packed with a jetpack. Combining the jetpack with his wingsuit, Rico is able to flawlessly fly through the air and dodge incoming attacks as well as launch missiles.
The expansion also provides new missions, challenges, the ‘Bavarium Splitter’ assault rifle, and a personal defence drone, all of which can be carried over and used in the main game.
Just Cause 3 was released back in December 2015 and saw the return of Rico Rodriguez on a quest to topple the dictator of the fictional country of Medici. Equipped with this grappling hook and brand new wingsuit, players were able to explore the 400 square miles of Medici. Reminding us of a Michael Bay film, Just Cause 3 sported some of the most entertaining combat and destruction we’ve seen on PS4. Check out the Just Cause 3 review for more in-depth information.
