SuperBowl ads, despite their often comedic nature, are serious stuff. A single second of airtime on the most watched television event of the year costs upwards of $100,000. If you’re a videogame company with deep pockets, you want those millions of dollars to mean something.
In our humble opinion, Sony marketing could not have crafted a more appropriate, more epic advertisement than the Killzone 2 ad that is set to air this Sunday. It’s relevant, it’s witty, and it’s god damn gorgeous. For a $5,000,000 TV spot, we’d expect nothing less. We’ve embedded it below, courtesy of GameSpy.
