Zdeněk Glatz, a designer and writer who worked at Warhorse Studios on Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, has revealed in a post on LinkedIn that he’s joined CD Projekt RED.
“I am happy to share that I’ve joined CD Projekt RED,” revealed Glatz, who spent eight years at Warhorse Studios and worked on the original Kingdom Come Deliverance and its follow-up. His new role is senior open world designer, a position that will no doubt put much of his experience on Kingdom Come Deliverance to good use, seeing as both of those tiles were open world affairs. What isn’t known however is what project he’s working on, whether it be The Witcher IV or something else.
While we’re on the subject of Warhorse Studios, it was revealed back in February this year that Daniel Vávra, who has been a key figure in the Kingdom Come Deliverance franchise, has shifted away from game development and instead now focussing his efforts on bringing the series to the big screen.
Kingdom Come Deliverance II was released in February last year for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and was a commercial success, selling over five million copies worldwide.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt RED revealed in March 2026 that it hired more than 200 people over the last year, and many of them are now working on The Witcher IV in some capacity.
