Konami has announced that it will be bringing a new trailer for Silent Hill Townfall to Gamescom next month, which will debut during Opening Night Live.
In addition, the publisher is offering hands-on with Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse for the event, while Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.2 will also be featured, with fans able to “receive a special photo opportunity featuring a bipedal mechanical presence celebrating METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.2.”
Silent Hill Townfall is a brand new entry in the long-running psychological horror franchise that takes place during the mid-1990s, and follows Simon Ordell as he is called back to the sleepy town of St. Amelia in Scotland to ‘put things right.’ Meanwhile, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.2 features enhanced versions of Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and Metal Gear: Ghost Babel.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse meanwhile is set in Paris in the year 1499 and has become engulfed in flames as various creatures emerge from the darkness and overthrow the city.
Gamescom Opening Night Live kicks off on August 25, 2026, with the full event running August 26 — 30.
