Warner Brothers and Harmonix have officially announced development of the long rumored music sim, LEGO Rock Band.
The game is being headed by Harmonix (Rock Band) and Traveller’s Tales (LEGO Indiana Jones), with the team planning on creating a more family friendly affair opposed to the hard rock lineup that the Rock Band titles have offered in the past.
While this will appeal to all fans LEGO and pretty much everyone else in the Rock Band world, it’s hard to decide whether this or Rock Band: Beatles deserve your money this year.
Games will be able to uniquely piece together their band members as well as their manager and crewmembers.
At the time of writing much of the track list has yet to be revealed, though five songs have been named and can be seen below.
Blur: “Song 2”
Carl Douglas: “Kung Fu Fighting”
Europe: “The Final Countdown”
Good Charlotte: “Boys and Girls”
Pink: “So What”
We can say one thing for sure, the Beverly Hills Ninjas in all of us won’t be too hesitant to start Kung Fu Fighting any time soon.
