Neowiz has confirmed during its Q1 2026 earnings results that the Lies of P sequel has now entered full-scale development.
Not much else is known about the Lies Of P follow-up, but Neowiz touched briefly on Round8, which worked with the company on the original game, noting how it considers storytelling to be a “core competency” of the team. This is cited as the reason why Seung-ho Jin and Kay Lee were recruited as directors despite their background as scenario writers.
The news comes just a day after it was revealed that Neowiz was looking for a AI artist for its next project (this wasn’t specified if it was Lies Of P 2), with the studio seemingly keen to push its use of generative AI. We know that the company is working on numerous other titles outside of the Lies of P sequel, including a science-fiction horror project, a life simulation, a narrative-RPG, and Soulslike game.
Speaking with GamesRadar+ at the Golden Joystick Awards, Lies Of P Game Director Choi Jin-Won pledged that he would “not disappoint” fans wit the planned sequel.
