Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games, has revealed in a post on social media that the upcoming Lords of the Fallen 2 is being shaped by ‘real player feedback,’ noting how things are different at the studio compared to when the original game was built.
Here’s what he had to say in a revealing post on X:
Many of you asked why the game initially had body type A/B. Hexworks started early 2020 as an autonomous studio owned by CI Games. Early on, political correctness and filtering meant not every decision reached me on time. I got a lot more involved from late 2024 and now act as Head of Studio alongside my CEO role. Things are very different now and the studio got fully integrated. We reverted a lot of wrong decisions and will continue improving. Lords II is being built on real player feedback, and it’s crystal clear in the last two trailers.
He also responded to a number of fan question in the comments section. One asked if there would be “attractive female characters, and will there be revealing outfits and armour for them?” In response, Tyminski simply stated, “Yes.” Another follower stated their opinion that games should be fun and not politically correct, which the CEO respond, “correct.”
Speaking back in August with MP1st, David Valjalo, Creative Portfolio Strategist for CI Games, described Lords of the Fallen 2 as the publisher’s ‘Empire Strikes Back,’ which if you know your Star Wars, means it’s a pretty big deal.
Lords of the Fallen 2 was showcased during The Game Awards 2025 on Friday, where we received a brand new trailer for the game. Lords of the Fallen 2 is pencilled in for release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in 2026, with an exact date yet to be confirmed.
