Guillermo Del Toro says he is a true gamer. He grew up with a controller in one hand, he says. He also thinks film and video games don’t go together so well. In fact, he used a fair amount of expletives at Spike’s VGAs tonight to describe the lack of success between the two forms of entertainment.
Well Del Toro is a man on mission to change the piles of stench emanating from the used game bin at shops around the world. He’s joined up with THQ to create inSane, what appears to be a horror game slated for launch in 2013. Yup, get ready to wait at least another two years or so to see what the director of Pan’s Labyrinth has to offer the gaming industry.
