Avalanche Software’s upcoming open-world action title, Mad Max, will run in full high-definition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, its senior producer has said.
Speaking with GamingBolt, John Fuller was quizzed if both versions of the hotly anticipated title would perform in full HD, to which he simply replied, "Yes!"
In addition, Fuller revealed some interesting facts about the game’s map, specifically how long it would take players to venture from one side to the other:
“There are no finite limits to the map… in other words, there is no ‘one side’. You can continue driving into The Big Nothing until you get bored or killed.
“Our tech can support enormous worlds but it is always a case of balancing the density of content and travel distances so that the player feels they are in a rich world.”
Mad Max is scheduled to ship for PS4, PC and Xbox One on September 1. The PS4 release will receive some timed-exclusive content, which you can read up on here. Check out the Mad Max TV commercial while you’re at it.
