Insomniac Games has officially announced that Marvel’s Wolverine will launch for PS5 on September 15, 2026.
Marvel’s Wolverine is the first major product from the studio since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 back in 2023, and promises to deliver on key Insomniac Games staples including fast, fluid and ferocious combat. The game’s narrative will explore Logan’s dark and brutal spin on heroism, and will see players brushing shoulders with a number of iconic characters, including Mystique and Omega Red, while battling enemies such as the Reavers.
In this original story, Wolverine is on the hunt to uncover the secrets of a dark past that keeps eluding him. His search for answers will send him on perilous excursions to exotic locales, including the island nation of Madripoor, the frosted wilderness of Canada and the narrow city streets of Tokyo – all potential battlegrounds for fierce, bloody, destructive action.
Insomniac Games recently announced that it will share more details on Marvel’s Wolverine in Spring 2026. In case you missed it, Liam McIntyre will be playing the role of Wolverine, aka James ‘Logan’ Howlett.
