Industry insider Shinobi602 has recently headed to NeoGAF to shed some new light on the release window for Mass Effect 4.
In a post on the site, he stated that the game is still in very early development, but also says that Bioware’s action RPG has been vastly expanded upon in the past few months.
Shinobi states that work began on Mass Effect 4 with approximately 50 developers, but in the past few months, that number has quadrupled, which will greatly improve the speed of development.
Shinobi concludes that his own line of thought put that date in late 2015 or early 2016, but his notion has changed since talking to certain people. He is now 100-percent certain that Mass Effect 4 will be out in 2016, with a release in the first half of 2016 being "optimistic."
Though we’d assume that Bioware’s four installment in the popular series will be released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, not a great deal is known about the game so far, although it won’t feature Commander Shepard from the original trilogy.
