Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will run at 1080p/60fps on PlayStation 4 and 900p/60fps on Xbox One.
While Sony’s console once again tops the Xbox One in terms of overall performance, Microsoft’s platform has seen a rise over the previous game, Ground Zeroes, which only managed 720p/60fps.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the last-generation versions of The Phantom Pain will run at 720p/30fps.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due out on September 1 for PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Check out the latest trailer here and have a gander at the game’s map size while you’re at it.
