Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vo.1 Update 2.0.0 Adds 4K Support On PS5

Konami has released Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 update 2.0.0., which brings 4K resolution support for Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 on PS5.

You can see an example of the new resolution via the patch notes below.

Select the preset “Fine Mode”

Displays the image at the maximum resolution setting suited to the environment in which it is used. Compared to when “Original Mode” is selected, the image is displayed sharper.
When “Fine Mode” is selected, the settings are as follows:

Internal resolution (non-PlayStation®4 environment)	FHD (1080p)
Internal resolution (PlayStation®4 environment)	original
Internal Upscaling	The maximum resolution that can be set in your environment: FHD(1080p) / WQHD(1440p) / 4K(2160p) The maximum internal upscaling for each hardware is as follows: PlayStation®5: 4K 1 PlayStation®4: FHD PlayStation®4 Pro: 4K 1 Xbox Series X: 4K Xbox Series S: WQHD Different internal upscaling settings may be configured depending on your environment.
