Johnny Cage and Kenshi will both feature as playable characters in the upcoming Mortal Kombat X, the game’s Senior Producer, Adam Urbano, has confirmed.
While both characters have yet to see an official reveal, Urbana confirmed their inclusion in the upcoming beat-’em-up during a video chat with Game Crate. Unsurprisingly, the footage has been quickly taken down, although not before eagle-eyed gamers could grab a quote:
“You’ll get to play as Johnny Cage, but we’re also showing Cassie Cage, who is the daughter of Sonya and Johnny,” he said. “You’ll get a chance to see Kenshi and a chance to see a couple more.”
Both characters will surely be given the official reveal treatment at some point in the near future. For now, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has removed all trace of Urbano’s comments, including any copies of the footage made on YouTube.
